Modular Force Field System
« on: July 08, 2012, 03:34:29 PM »
We have tried to use this mod on our server.
so he downloaded the files from the ported list, but if we start MC then...the game stays black and wont start.
We have usesd MCPatcher to mod them in our client files.
Does anyone knows how to install this?
Or is there a problem with the port?

Ports are only for the server, the client uses the normal vanilla files.
Thunderdark is currently porting the new version of MFFS, the current port is kinda old.

I thought that the current port was the latest?
But if it isn't that would explain why my server crashed when I installed the mod the other day.
According to the dropbox download page for the mod it is good for 1.2.5 (ported to bukkit).
But something is wrong or I had a (derp moment) when installing it. lol

Yes it's the latest, but MFFS was rebooted and released as V2.0:

there are both of them, client and server.
but if this is an old version, it would explain the client crash
