Disabling Forge kicking

Hello,
I wonder if it is possible to disable the kick when a player joins without Forge installed, and what was the behavior of the game if someone without Forge and required mods connects and try to see or use a customized block ?

You can look at MultiModWorld (http://www.mcportcentral.co.za/index.php?topic=929.0) to have separate modded and unmodded worlds, but you can't have unmodded clients in a world with mods. It simply won't work.

I am also interested in this. I have the MCPC bukkit server with forge, NEI and codechicken core. So if a client connects with NEI they can have all the options like delete items etc. However I also want unmodded clients to be able to connect. Like those without NEI. I have tested connecting to the server without NEI installed, just forge and REI's mini map and it works. So connecting without the mod the server has isn't necessary. As it only has the one, why then should the clients have to have forge installed if they have no mods? There also must be more situations where this would be applicable with other mods that don't add blocks or entities. Is there no way?

CGar, why are you even bothering with MCPC if all you have is NEI and codechicken core? You don't need the mod NEI on the server side. Just switch to a bukkit server and have only client side mods like that. And natinusala, you'll come across tons of crashes if you try to bypass needing forge and mods. You'll get thousands of nullpointerexception errors and the server will be unplayable to people without the mods.

Everything that you can do in SSP can be done in SMP if the server has NEI installed. If not then NEI can still spawn items using the give command if you are an OP. Most of the features are only enabled for OPs.

While Minecraft Forge is not required if it isn't installed you won't be able to see mobs in mobspawner items.
The process for installing NEI has changed. (For the easier AGAIN!).
Install FML 3.0.175.332+ OR MinecraftForge 4.0.0.240+ into the jar.
Place the CodeChickenCore jar file into the coremods folder.
Place the NEI jar file into the coremods folder.
Place any modules' zip files in the mods folder.

So in order to the have full functionality of NEI you need it installed on the server too. This example is just for NEI but my point is there will be similar mods, that don't add any blocks or entities. I understand its obviously wise to kick players if they don't have the same blocks or entities as the server. But this is not the case if its just mods that don't add anything to these areas. It would be better if it kicked players by default BUT allowed the server op to change this in certain cases, such as mine.
